Conduct performance reports of all websites, using tools like Ahrefs, GSC, Screaming Frog, and Semrush
Performing technical audits, searching for broken links, HTML optimization potential, Google Core web vital issues, and similar technical areas that need to be improved
Translating SEO requirements to the development team, working closely with them on fixing bugs, and improving our products as per SEO best practices
Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects
Find, evaluate, and capitalize upon SEO expansion opportunities for site structure, on-page improvements, keyword strategies, and content optimization
Develop and execute technical SEO best practice checklists, to ensure growth
Work closely with product and tech teams to accomplish SEO requirements
Reviewing and analyzing our websites from a content and technical point of view to identify areas that can be improved and optimized
Develop and implement link building strategy
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions
Competitor analysis in terms of traffic, on-page factors, and new ideas
Keeping up-to-date with developments in the SEO industry
Requirements:
2 years of experience in SEO in a publishing environment in Asia
Proven track record of success in technical SEO
Strong hands-on experience using SEO/analytics tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics (Content Optimization tools like SurferSEO is a plus bonus)
Knowledge of optimization of content for channels like Google News, AMP, and Discover
Analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data
Experience in handling website migrations and coming up with hygiene-level technical site changes
A basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus
Detail-orientated, well-organized, and excellent time management.
