About the Role

As an Senior Executive/Specialist - HR Operations, you will play a crucial role in managing our HR operations, including payroll, compliance, audits and general HR functions. You will be responsible for ensuring that all payroll processes are executed accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations, and supporting various HR projects and initiatives. Your expertise in payroll and attention to detail will be essential in optimizing our HR operations and enhancing overall efficiency.

What you'll do

  • Payroll Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end in house payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, deductions, and tax saving benefits administration. Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and documentation.
  • Tax Reporting: Prepare and file all required tax documents and reports, including quarterly and annual tax filings, 24Q to generate form 16 and other related forms.
  • Payroll Reporting: Generate and share payroll reports in prescribed formats, including payroll summaries, tax reports, and compliance reports etc with the finance team.
  • Audits and Reviews: Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare for internal and external audits as required.
  • Statutory compliance: Ensure timely preparation and payment of Statutory dues (PF, ESIC, LWF etc) and filling of paid challans.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations. Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance and address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Benefits Administration: Ensure accurate payroll deductions of employee benefits and timely process the payment to respective partners to record in employees wallets/accounts. Support Wellness benefits including health insurance, wellness benefits etc.
  • HR Operations: Support daily HR operations, including employee onboarding, records management, and HRIS maintenance. Act as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries. Work closely with other HR team members and departments to ensure seamless integration of HR processes and support organizational goals.
  • HR System Management: Administrate and update HRMS as per the requirement. Implement and test system upgrades and changes to ensure continued accuracy and efficiency.
  • Dashboard and Reporting: Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to track key metrics, identify trends, and provide insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high levels of accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing, compliance, and reporting. Identify and resolve issues proactively. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. MBA in HR is a plus.
  • Proven experience (3-6 years) in HR operations with a strong emphasis on payroll management and compliance and audits.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, benefits relevant to India & MENA region.
  • Proficiency in HRMS systems and payroll modules. Experience with Keka, Darwinbox is desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the organization.
