Job Purpose:
The Quality Assurance will be responsible for leading GMA production and quality at RE. The incumbent will ensure that GMA produced - Engine guard , Sump guard, Seats , Screen , Back rest , Bags etc. are in line with the quality standards. The incumbent will also oversee the standardization of Quality SOPs Accessories etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking care of GMA incoming material inspection
- Update on incoming issue( Review of daily incoming part )
- Sap Transaction for inspection and RTV
- Maintaining daily / Monthly quality MIS
- Monthly Rejection Trend
- Daily discussion with the concern team for immediate containment action on suspected material hold in WH QC.
- Coordinate and discuss with the SQA team for the improvement action on daily incoming issues.
- Mail information to supplier for incoming / customer complaint
- Registered the repeated / Major issue in QUIDS and raised the cap
- Review of QPCM implementation submitted by supplier for incoming issue
- Supplier visit for the inspection of material if required
- Coordinate with the Procurement and WH team to move Supplier RTV on time.
- Generating check sheet of new development part for the incoming inspection
- Modify the check sheet as per requirement ( Rev change / Customer complaints )
- Frequently audit dispatch area against Customer Complaint
- Containment action against customer complaint
- Discussion with SQA / Development team for the input of WH inspection of new development part.
- Discussion with SQA / PROCUREMENT / SUPPLIER on improvement activity required WH from supplier side
- GMA INCOMING QUALITY & VERIFICATION REPORT
- Daily review of SRN / Warranty part
- Daily tracker update and discussion with warranty / sales team for approved and not approved cases.
- Feed back to dealer and sales on customer complaint
- Follow-up with dealer and sales team to get the right defect detail of complaint
- Chase up with the supplier to provide action on supplier discrepancy / Warranty.
- Work closely with the sourcing and design team to communicate changes, updates, status etc.
- Support the sourcing team to Deliver On-time by assisting with problem-solving, sample approvals and Quality assurance
- Develop and validate Quality SOP, Warranty Policy etc.
- Develop Quality Assurance manuals and train staff on conducting quality checks
- Provide weekly/ monthly reports to management
- Drive efforts to bring consistency in product quality and reduction in rejection levels
