We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team and contribute to the seamless operation of our homestays.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for various supplies and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best deals.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
Purchase Management:
- Source and procure goods and services required for the smooth operation of our homestays.
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Evaluate and compare vendor offers and proposals.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all supplies and equipment.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Develop and manage inventory forecasting models to anticipate future needs.
Coordination:
- Collaborate with various departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and front office, to understand and fulfill their procurement needs.
- Coordinate with finance and accounts departments to ensure timely payment of invoices and accurate financial records.
- Assist in budget planning and cost management for procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to procurement and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.(optional)
- Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
