Job Summary
The job holder (2-year contract) reports to the Manager and is responsible for the review and evaluation of programmes and initiatives under the School Ready, Growth Group to meet the organisation's target by working closely with various stakeholders. The incumbent is responsible to:
i. Engage community stakeholders to build and deepen support to achieve greater impact among the children and parents served by the organisation and partner agencies.
ii. Engaging families to gather insights to facilitate evidence-based, data-driven decisions.
iii. Develop relevant documentation to support reviews and operations.
The job holder is expected to work from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. The job holder is largely expected to work in an office environment. On occasion, the job holder may need to work outside official hours on weekends to support the running of events.
Key Responsibility Areas
Programme Development and Management
- Execute the delivery and operations of programmes and initiatives in School Ready such as KelasMateMatika.
- Attend to the operational issues in executive the programmes and initiatives
- Collate relevant data to improve the programme delivery
Planning and Management
- Write and edit Concept Paper to support events, programmes and operations reviews.
- Engage and consult relevant parties and organisations to identify programme's needs. Design process and procedures for database management
- Adhere to timeline for prompt programme delivery.
Knowledge and Research
- Execute periodic environmental scan to keep abreast with what's happening in the education landscape for trend and programme analysis.
- Provide insights and expertise to the Deputy Director, Team Lead, concerning relevant issues.
- Research / scan for new programmes and developments in relevant areas.
Strategic Partnership Management
- Seek collaborations and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify platforms/ opportunities for the engagement of partners.
- Build rapport and build strong relationship with sponsors and partners.
- Execute workplans with partners for reviews and evaluation
Financial Management/ Efficiency
- Prepare and monitor budget plans to manage resource allocations for programmes and initiatives.
- Ensure the financial procedures are adhered to in the appropriate sourcing and engagement of services and providers.
- Oversee funds and payments in accordance to financial procedures.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in early childhood or social service sector.
- Minimum a Degree in Early Childhood, Psychology or related discipline is preferred.
- Able to work independently and in teams.
- Confident and has a good working attitude.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT literacy and ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
