What will you do
- Delivery: Collaborate with programming and operation teams to ensure timely delivery of materials from production houses/vendors. Ensure the timely delivery of content for the Jio platform.
- Content Editing and Mastering: Perform minor edits as required and master content for the platform to maintain quality standards.
- Quality Check: Verify the quality of audio/video for OTT materials according to Viacom18 set standards and maintain detailed reports.
- Thumbnail and Metatag Creation: Generate thumbnails and create metatags for specific content types to enhance discoverability.
- Subtitling Management: Upload content to subtitling vendors and oversee the subtitling process.
- Anti-Piracy Measures: Upload defined content to vendors for anti-piracy measures and monitor compliance.
- MAM to Archival: Import materials into the Media Asset Management (MAM) system for archival purposes.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with channels/partners to finalize titles and synopses for content and ensure accuracy. Collaborate with the Media Management team to ensure proper archival of content and generate relevant reports.
- Rights Management and Reporting: Coordinate with the content management team regarding rights management and provide necessary reports as required.
Who should apply for this role
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience in content delivery coordination or a similar role within the media or entertainment industry
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in editing using Adobe Premiere Pro. Thorough understanding of OTT (Over-the-Top) workflows and content delivery mechanisms. Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) for content organization and distribution
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of content delivery.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of video encoding and transcoding processes. Familiarity with digital asset management and archival systems. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends. Experience with metadata management and content tagging. Understanding of copyright laws and rights management in the media industry.
