- Develop and implement EHS SOPs, train the concerned persons and bring the EHS performance improvements within all the facilities.
Hazard identification and minimisation:
- Conduct periodical safety assessments, audit to identify the hazards and ensure the effective Controls.
- Counselling of employees on unsafe acts
- Coordinate with HODs to implement the CAPA decided against observations.
Emergency Preparedness:
- Ensure all firefighting and emergency equipment are maintained.
- Emergency Reponses Team is trained.
- Mock drills and other fire safety training are being conducted periodically.
- Periodically testing of fire detection and alarm system.
Health
- Ensuring annual health check-up of all employees.
- Educate / train the people on hygiene issues
- Ensure Legal compliances
PPE management
- PPE selection & procurement and ensure availability of appropriate PPEs.
- Train the people on usage of PPEs and disposal.
EHS Training & Awareness
- Help in conducting EHS training on various topics.
- Spreading safety awareness among all employees.
Legal compliance
- Understand all the EHS related Legal Compliances,
- ensure periodical compliance
- Train the respective people on the Legal compliances.
Industrial Hygiene
- Carrying out workplace and environmental monitoring.
Environmental Facilities
- Ensure proper operation of ETPs / STPs
- Ensure air pollution control facilities are well maintained and performed
- Periodically monitoring of all the Environmental facilities
Person Profile
Qualification: -
- B. tech / M.Sc. with Post diploma in industrial safety and Environmental diploma / degree .
