The HR Executive / Senior HR Executive will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource department, ensuring the efficient handling of HR tasks, and supporting organizational goals. This role involves recruitment, employee onboarding, employee relations, and implementation of company policies. The HR Executive will work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and support workforce development to maintain a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Staffing:
- Assist in creating job descriptions and posting job openings.
- Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and assist in the selection process.
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation programs.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to streamline recruitment processes.
2. Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and queries.
- Promote a positive and productive workplace environment.
- Handle employee grievances and provide solutions in alignment with company policies.
3. Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure that HR policies are up-to-date and comply with labour laws.
- Assist in enforcing disciplinary policies and procedures.
- Keep abreast of changes in labour laws and inform management.
4. Performance Management:
- Help implement performance appraisal systems and ensure timely evaluations.
- Provide support in creating employee development plans and conducting training needs assessments.
5. Employee Engagement:
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities and events.
- Promote initiatives that encourage employee development and satisfaction.
6. Collaboration with Senior Leadership:
- Work closely with senior leadership to support business strategy and talent management.
- Assist leadership in implementing HR strategies that drive organizational growth and employee development.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's in HR or MBA is an added advantage.
- Certification: HR certifications like SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent will be beneficial.
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in human resource roles, preferably in recruitment, employee relations, and policy implementation.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
Skills Required:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mediate conflicts.
- Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR-related tools.
