This position is required to own and drive content production for Star Pravah Picture & content acquisition for Pravah Picture.
The incumbent is expected to liaise with multiple stakeholders, Programming, Marketing, Legal, Tech team and Finance team to ensure effective implementation of the content and Contract Closures. The incumbent will be responsible for dealing with Film Studios / Aggregators/ Production Houses to ensure the value for acquisition and rights management.
This is a critical role that will work closely with the BU team to optimize the cost and movie rights for the channel. The incumbent should have good communication & negotiation skills and understanding of production & Film rights is paramount.
The incumbent should have interest to gain knowledge of handling the commercial related contracts/processes from Business Commercial point of view.
Key Responsibilities:
Content and Marketing Budget Management
Liaising with multiple stake holders including Channel programming, Marketing team, finance, legal & Tech team for necessary approvals and effective implementation.
Build, develop & maintain vendor relationship.
Overseeing and being accountable for all process related responsibilities of content spends including the approval process for timely payments / legal contracts closures.
Knowledge of handling the commercial related contracts/processes from Commercial Business point of view

Qualifications
Graduate with 5 to 7 years of work experience in a corporate environment / Production House.
Should have a sound understanding of production budgets, Films rights, legal contracts and ability to drive closure of budgets with the Producers / Aggregators / Film Studios in a time bound manner
Knowledge and Skills
Clear understanding of Marathi Film industry and Producers.
Sound Knowledge of Movie Rights
Good negotiation skills
Communication skills (written and verbal)
Good interpersonal and PR skills.
Good working knowledge in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
