We are seeking a dynamic and experienced team member to lead our Climate Tech Innovation Challenge. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing/Supporting the overall program, coordinating between various stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth execution of the challenge. This role requires a strong background in climate-related fields, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams..
Key Roles & Responsibilities: Program Management:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of the Climate Tech Innovation Challenge.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the program stays on track and meets deadlines.
- Timely Report Generation
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact between all stakeholders, including climate experts, participants, internal teams (impact, marketing, etc.), and external partners.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved.
- Organize and lead regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues.
Challenge Execution:
- Coordinate the application and selection process for challenge participants.
- Manage logistics for events, workshops, and meetings related to the challenge.
- Ensure participants have access to necessary resources and support.
Marketing and Outreach:
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote the challenge and attract high-quality participants.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, press releases, and social media campaigns.
- Represent the program at industry events and conferences.
Impact Assessment:
- Collaborate with the impact team to measure and report on the success and impact of the challenge.
- Collect and analyse data to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous growth.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage the program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Monitor expenses and report on financial status to senior management.
Key Qualification : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Climate Science, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in project management are a plus.
- Research Experience in related field
- 1-3 years of experience in program management, preferably in the climate-tech or sustainability sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of climate-related challenges and solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
