Job Title: Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Finance & Accounts
Location: Ahmedabad
Position Overview: seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive/Assistant Manager in Finance & Accounts to join our Mining Technical Services Division. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA Inter qualified) with a proven track record of 7-8 years in finance and accounting roles, preferably within the mining industry.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day financial operations of the Mining Technical Services Division.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes and provide insights to senior management.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors for periodic audits and compliance checks.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance and accounting.
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) Inter qualified with membership in good standing.
7-8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the mining sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation laws.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
Experience in managing audits, compliance, and internal control processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials).
Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
