Design Management: Collaborate with external consultant and Internal project teams to develop detailed master plans, drawings, and specifications.
Analysis: Utilize demographic, economic, and geographic data to inform planning decisions and strategies.
Strategy: Develop comprehensive design strategies, and understand the zoning guidelines that enhance the functionality, sustainability, and livability of urban spaces.
Land Use Planning: Assess land use patterns, zoning regulations, and policy frameworks to guide development.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with community members, government agencies, and stakeholders to gather input, build consensus, and address concerns.
Design Excellence: Good sense of design and ability to coordinate with International Architects
Client Collaboration: Engage with clients, stakeholders, and community members to understand their vision and goals and translate them into actionable design concepts.
Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Research and Analysis: Conduct design research and analysis to inform design decisions, incorporating best practices, emerging trends, and sustainable design principles.
Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable design principles and environmental considerations into master plans.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that design projects comply with zoning regulations, local codes, and planning guidelines.
Qualifications
Academic Qualification: B. Arch from Reputed institute such as CEPT University & School of Planning & Architecture (SPA).
Total 12 - 15 years of experience out of which preferably at least 5 years of in design management with reputed developers.
Having delivered/design/design management for Hospitality led mixed use development, Business parks, Retail- With at least one full cycle of experience-Concept till on site completion.
Proficiency in building/planning preferred, NBC codes for design, planning and building.
Must have exhibited design and design coordination skills with various design stakeholders like landscape, traffic, and SMEP.
Experience in preparing design brief and feasibility studies.
Demonstrable workplace experience of survey and analysis of sites, preparation of base plans and supporting material required for architectural work is essential.
Ability to review consultants drawings and provide comments and independently manage design consultants.
Strong project management skills. A thorough understanding of agreed project outputs, resource management, specific team responsibilities, delivery timeframes, tracking issues and risks, internal and external communication, and escalation.
The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, and to demonstrate competency in presenting ideas and concepts.
Ability to prepare high quality planning documents such as Design Briefs, Access Statements, Design Codes and Parameter Plans.
General understanding of Green/sustainability requirements w.r.t master planning.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, MS office and know-how of Revit would be essential.
