Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead our Product Knowledge Management team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and enhancement of our knowledge management solutions, leveraging machine learning (ML) to deliver intelligent and scalable products. As the Engineering Manager, you will oversee a team of engineers and collaborate closely with Machine Learning Engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions that enhance knowledge discovery, organization, and utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, data engineers, and ML specialists.
- Drive the hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of engineering talent.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and career development plans for the team members.
- Product Development & Delivery:
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define the product roadmap, with a focus on ML-driven knowledge management features.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of knowledge management systems, ensuring they meet scalability, performance, and reliability requirements.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, prioritization, coding, testing, and deployment
- Machine Learning Integration:
- Work closely with ML engineers to integrate advanced machine learning models
- Guide the team in the selection and implementation of ML algorithms that improve enterprise search, enterprise actions also Large Language Model
- Oversee the deployment and monitoring of ML models in production, ensuring they meet performance and accuracy standards.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide hands-on technical guidance to the team on software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.o Advocate for the use of modern technologies and tools that enhance product quality and developer productivity.
- Lead architectural discussions and drive the adoption of scalable and maintainable codebases.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in ML, AI, and knowledge management, and assess their potential impact on our product.
- Operational Excellence:
- Implement and maintain best practices for software development, CI/CD, Kubernetes and ML model lifecycle management.
- Monitor and improve the operational efficiency, scalability, and performance of the knowledge management systems.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with product delivery, including technical debt and resource constraints.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering successful scalable products or features used by many users.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, NodeJS, or similar.
- Experience in building highly scalable systems are very important.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, tools, information retrieval, NLP, and search technologies is a plus.

- Ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.
