We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in software development, product development, and software configuration management (SCM). The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading and managing teams that deliver high-quality software products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, focusing on product development, innovation, and SCM development.
- Drive the technical roadmap and architecture for our products and SCM solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to deliver impactful and high-quality software products and SCM solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies within the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing product development teams.
- Strong technical background, with expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Experience in SCM development is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology, product development, and SCM.
