Job Responsibilities
- Drive planning and execution for scrum team, to deliver releases in alignment with organizational and product objectives
- Maintain knowledge of product architecture, connective dependencies, technical concerns such as rollout strategies, performance and scalability to ensure the right decisions are made
- Develop your team; provide regular feedback to help them learn and grow
- Foster a culture of engineering best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Share the team vision and strategy to foster an understanding of the overall direction and the why behind decisions
- Assist Product Owners and TPMs to drive cross functional initiatives to successful completion
Typical Qualifications
- Over 12 years of professional experience, including more than 3 years in leadership roles within a technical environment.
- Experience in distributed systems, cloud-based architecture and highly-available systems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as: C#, C++, Perl, Java, Python, React, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience leading teams in an agile environment.
- Track record of growing your engineers and teams
- Collaborative approach to driving best possible results and outcome for the customer
