Job Description
As a Senior Engineer within our Infrastructure Team, you will play a key role in delivering complex Infrastructure projects and maintaining high standards of quality. You will collaborate with senior team members, provide technical input, and help ensure the smooth execution of multiple Infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering Infrastructure projects, supporting project leaders in delivering successful outcomes.
- Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation
- Prepare reports calculations and design documentation
- Conduct technical and quality reviews of projects, identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and assess surface water drainage systems to ensure efficient stormwater management and adherence to local regulations.
- Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling to inform design decisions and evaluate the impacts of drainage systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Wet Utilities.
- Experience in designu of Wet Utilities including Potable Water, Sewer, Storm, Irrigation, District cooling, and Firefighting.
- Working knowledge of relevant software packages like HEC HMS, HEC RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, SWMM.
- Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, HAMMER.
- Prepare design using Civil 3D software for BIM environment.
- Knowledge of clash resolution of utilities modeling software like Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and lead large-scale projects.
