Summary of work Environment and Work performed:
Process Automation Engineer responsible for designing of software modules using TMEIC software
products and Databases to satisfy project requirement. Engineering, tuning during commissioning and
troubleshooting of Level2 Automation System. Required to work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team
consisting of Control Engineers & Field engineers.
Job requires ability of 30% travel to customer site on short notices
Specific Duties:
Develop software modules using TMEIC software products and Databases to satisfy project requirement.
Work Within team of multi-disciplinary engineers consisting of Level 1, Level 2 and Field engineers.
Design and Develop Supervisory (Level 2) control systems and associated HMI screens for metal rolling,
strip processing and rod/bar mill control systems.
Identify and define interfaces to other software modules / third party devices and functions.
Install, Maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware and software.
Support Site commissioning activities as required.
Generate supporting documentation as per team and customer requirements.
Education
Essential: - Bachelors Degree in Electrical/ EEE/Electronics/Instrumentation engineering
Desired: -
Knowledge
Experience with multiple Programming languages and Databases
Experience in Level2 Engineering & Commissioning
Process knowledge of Metals Processes as Hot Mill, Cold Rolling Mills, Processing lines, Bar/Wire Rod Mills etc.
Field commissioning experience is preferable
Skills and abilities:
Basic understanding of Level1/Level2 Automation and their interface with Third party system
Good Academic Records.

Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in Engineering & Commissioning of Level2 Automation
Working Knowledge of SQL and database programming (MS-SQL / Oracle).
Programming knowledge in any language with good understanding of OOPS concept.
