Position Objective
Crowcon India team develops software applications for Web, Windows, and Mobile platforms, APIs, and firmware for Embedded devices as part of our Digital landscape. With an aim to further enhance our backend microservices and APIs, we are looking for the right candidate to contribute to the Microservices, APIs in ASP.NET.
You are expected to bring in good expertise in ASP.NET, C#, Relational database design and REST APIs.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of robust API services, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Utilize your proficiency in ASP.NET and C# to write readable and maintainable code.
- Analyse business requirements, design database and table structure and develop the required APIs.
- Prioritize application performance, undertaking bug fixes and enhancements to ensure uninterrupted functioning of the web services.
- Deliver APIs as a product and always think API first strategy.
- Bring in expertise to improve the services with additional features, new / different technologies.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in .NET development and broader programming technologies.
Critical Success factors
- Demonstrated expertise in C#, with a comprehensive understanding of ASP .NET Core, (.NET Core 6 or higher), HTTP APIs, REST API design principles.
- Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
- Excellent understanding of Relational databases such as MS SQL / PGSQL.
- Familiar with code versioning tools, like Git.
- Awareness about application security principles.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Agile
- Knowledge of non-relational databases, time series databases will be added advantage.
- Familiarity with containerization, Cloud will be added advantage.
Academic qualification
- BE/B. Tech or equivalent qualification
Experience (exposure)
- 4 to 6 yrs. of exp. in relevant field.
Key Attributes
- Writing robust API applications in ASP. NET core.
- Designing relational database schemas for optimal performance.
- Utilizing Entity Framework Core and LINQ to manipulate and query data efficiently.
- Developing readable code with unit testing and secure approach.
