Role And Responsibilities
The role of a Senior Engineer Purchase at Pinnacle Management Consultant will involve:
- Managing the order management system, including material planning until receipt of the material.
- Having knowledge of sheet metal and fabrication processes.
- Understanding component parts costing, including laser cutting, TPP, bending, welding, and powder coating.
- Conducting vendor development activities, from screening suppliers to developing finished parts.
- Overseeing inventory management.
- Participating in cost reduction activities, such as localization, value engineering, packaging consolidation, and negotiation skills.
- Holding at least 2 years of working knowledge in SAP MM Module.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills to interact with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Being a team player.
- Having knowledge of plastic parts handling (added advantage).
- Procuring raw materials like CRCA, GI, HRPO, and SS sheet metals.
Candidate Qualifications
To qualify for the role of Senior Engineer Purchase, candidates should have:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of production processes and supply chain management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
