Senior Engineer- Production

In this role the candidate will be responsible for

Ensure shop floor operates safely for all employees.

Ensure all work meets IATF Standard requirements.

Champion the use of lean tools to achieve the goals of the value stream through

improving flow and removing waste (non-value add).

Ensure 100% compliance to internal and external accreditation standards

(including IATF and internal standards).

Ensure compliance to local and NSK business policies.

Work with Human Resources to cultivate a development plan for operators and

cell leaders.

Be conscious of production cost.

Be responsible for direct and indirect material issued to shop floor accounting as

per SCM needs.

Support new product launches as per milestone needs, tooling trials for NPD /

localization efforts.

Be responsible for rejection / scrap review and analysis with disposition actions.

Ensuring regular preventive maintenance of machine to ensure smooth running

in the shift.

Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve

substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.

Appraising the prevalent production systems/ processes.

Conduct periodic Process Audit to identify abnormality of the process and driving

action through the team.
