Qualifications and Skills:-
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in new product development
- Strong knowledge of product development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects
- Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality requirements in product development
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities:-
- Lead and manage the new product development process from concept to commercialization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, to develop innovative products
- Identify customer needs and translate them into product requirements
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and drive product improvements
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality requirements throughout the development process
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for component sourcing and manufacturing
- Conduct product testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in new product development
