What will you do at Tejas
Product Engineering team owns:
- Platform and software validation for the entire product portfolio using in-house built Product Verification tools customized for the Tejas portfolio of products
- Build and enhance the existing frameworks which helps in making recurring testing work easy
- One will be working on coding languages like Python, Java, TCL along with some of the web based technologies like JSP, PHP with
- Writing Test plans and Test cases which are meant to verify different features of the product which varies from Layer1-3of Networking layer spreading across different protocols like ETHR, MPLS, MEFS, ERP, L3VPN, VRRF, OSPF, RIP, BGP etc.
Team works closely with Manual Testing Team and the Development team to understand the feature and then deliver the Test plans and Test cases for the features. Not only that, the candidate will have complete freedom to innovate and implement new solution over the automation framework which can reduce the release cycles immensely. As a part of the team you get opportunity to work on various technologies both in Networking as well as in coding domain.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning and configuration of BBU
- Handling of BBU CPRI and S1 connectivity,RRH RF connectivity, GPS connectivity
- Testing the RSCP, PCI, SINR, RSRP, using User Equipment in LAB if USERS Facing any RF Signal Issue in their Network
- Maintanace of lab equipment Calibration all type of Shield box testing equipment
- Installation, Configuration and maintenance of programmable attenuators (Like Mini Circuits, Adura, Vaunix)
- Radio signal propagation and interference analysis
- LTE Architecture, Core understanding (Adding IMSIs, Wireshark capture on interfaces, Adding PDN routes)
Experience / Skill Required:
- Exp 3 to 7 yrs
- LAN network
- Basic knowledge on IP core network related to the 4G network.
- Switching: VLAN, File Transfer Protocol, VLAN Trunking protocol
- Troubleshooting skills on lab network, finding loopings, traffic floods, duplication IPs, etc.
- IT skills:
- Operating system installation and configuration for servers (Windows XP, Windows-7,8,10,11, Linux, Cent OS, Ubuntu and Fedora)
- Basic linux commands
Added advantage:
- Simulators hands-on: TM500, Keysight, Simnovus
- DT and log tools hands-on: Drive test ( QXDM, XCAL and TEMPS)preparation and analysis and recommending radio optimization actions
- Lab support associate courses/certifications [*from Qualcomm/Nokia*] are added advantage
- Good in MS Office: MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, Conditional Formatting, Charting), PPT, Word
