Job Description
Responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components.
- Must thoroughly understand mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes to create innovative, cost-effective solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Design and development of Rotary Equipment's (Positive Displacement machines) with collaboration with Global teams in IR.
- Proficiency of Mechanical Design Software's for 3D and 2D works Inventor/ SolidWorks & AutoCAD. Knowledge of GDNT, Design calculations is a must.
- SAP and ERP knowledge is preferred skill to have in the candidate for BOM creation and records.
- Adapt the Existing product Portfolio available and bring improvement on it using its Design and Engineering Skills. Analyze and improve existing system designs
- Analyze various manufacturing issues and resolve them in a timely manner, Must have basic knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes used in making a rotary product.
- Manage the entire documentation for the product responsible for and responsible for ECN function of the same.
- Create necessary drawings, maintain engineering documentation flow and coordinate with vendors to get parts fabricated on budget and on-time
- Create and release engineering drawings, written procedures and Bill of Materials. coordinate with vendors for Quality Prototyping and timely execution of project responsible for.
- Create project scope, budget, timeline, etc. for each project that is assigned. Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Capabilities of handling the project individually, prepare the Business cases, Costing of Products. Work cross functionally with other teams like Procurement, Operations, Quality for the manufacturing and validation of a product.
