The Role
You Will Be Responsible To
- Design and implement robust network security architectures and systems.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.
- Analyze security breaches and determine the root cause.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular security assessments, and vulnerability scans, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology.
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.
Ideal Profile
- You possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent, or have relevant professional experience
- You have a solid grasp of programming languages such as Rust, Go, C++, C, Java, or similar, with experience in cloud or mobile software development.
- You are a subject matter expert in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for developing security software, offering seasoned functional knowledge and expertise.
- You have demonstrated experience in providing advanced analytical, interpretive, and consultative services for mid to large-scale cloud, mobile, and/or IoT security software systems.
- You possess hands-on experience in software development for cloud and mobile environments.
- Cybersecurity certifications like CISSP, CISA, or similar are preferred.
- You have a strong understanding of software development and cybersecurity best practices and technologies.
- You possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- You are an effective mentor and coach capable of building high-performing teams.
