What You Will Do:
As an Adobe Journey Optimizer Developer, you will develop and execute multi-channel contact strategies across customer segments, touchpoint, channels, with the goal of driving revenue from existing and prospect customers, increasing engagement and establishing greater loyalty and affinity with the brand.
The candidate will assist with development design elements, be able to identify and confirm technical design risks of architecture recommendations and develop mitigating approaches. The candidate will be responsible for implementing on strategies and campaign flow to fit each client's unique needs. The developer will ensure that client systems accurately meet the defined expectations and objectives of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored by working with the project teams. The candidate must also have experience providing level of effort and ROM estimates for technical solutions. The candidate must be well versed in integrations with other platforms using either the standard API connector or via other integrations methods such as REST API, webhook, endpoint, etc.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Design and implement complex omni channel experiences including channels such as Email, SMS, Mobile Push, In-App, Direct mail, Web using Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Understand the marketing data specifications and ensure all data is available for the Campaigns/Journeys.
- Provide and be knowledgeable in best practices in campaign/Journey development to optimize efficiency and quality of deliverables; implement and support automation triggered, recurring and ad hoc communications.
- Build and execute test and measure campaign/Journey strategies that will drive desired customer behaviour.
- Lead campaign/Journey and program requirement discussions to gain added insights from the customer data needed to drive strategies, such as understanding of offer responsiveness, content relevancy and communications channel engagement.
- Document and communicate campaign/Journey strategy and work with campaign execution team and project manager to establish timeline and schedules for implementation and measurement.
- Collaborate with delivery team and client regarding product definition, schedule, scope, and project-related decisions.
- Design, develop, deliver, and maintain features and applications of Marketing cloud that will excite and please a user base.
- Develop solutions that are high quality, scalable, reliable, and reusable.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team to plan sprints, expand stories into tasks, work on removing impediments, and execute at top velocity Investigate technologies that can be leveraged to introduce new innovations in meeting business and customer goals.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, managers, and other business stakeholders.

Technical Skills You Will Bring:
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation and support of Marketing automation systems and 2+ years of experience as an Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
- Strong experience in data modelling, schema, and cardinality building
- Clear understanding of other areas of AEP outside of AJO and how AEP works in correlation with AJO i.e., CDP, profile unification, identities, segments, activation.
- Excellent knowledge of Marketing Management across multiple Channels (Email, Mail, SMS, PUSH, etc.) and custom actions in the journey.
- Great understanding on decision management and REST API
- Clear understanding on Business and unitary events, data source set up and use cases.
- Experience in integrating Adobe Experience Cloud Solutions which may include Assets core service, RTCDP, AEM Assets, Experience Cloud Triggers, Adobe Analytics Connector, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, AEM, IMS etc.
- Excellent understanding of data dependencies and design for marketing cloud journeys and campaigns
- Construct and establish Marketing system standards and practices which will help the client Marketing team to realize their Marketing objectives.
- Expertise and Experience in SQL (Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge on Web Technologies like HTML, and CSS would be a plus.
- Knowledge of HTML DOM manipulation and page load events a plus
- Technical background with a proven history of understanding complex systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or another technology-related field preferred
- Preferred certification Adobe journey optimizer developer or any other Adobe Campaign certification
