Primary Responsibilities:
- Deploy cloud infrastructure, platforms, and applications
- Implement cloud architecture strategies based on business and technical requirements
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine the most cost-effective cloud solutions
- Ensure the security, availability, and scalability of cloud-based systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud-based solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud-based systems
- Implement required solutions and processes needed to manage cloud usage and cost
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform with 7 to 10 years of experience
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Understanding of DevOps principles and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources
- Experience with configuration management tools (eg, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) for consistent and repeatable environments
- Familiarity with networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
- Demonstrated continuous learning and adaptability with cloud-based technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
