Senior Embedded Software Engineer

At LTX- LaunchTrax we build Next Gen Mission Systems for defense and aerospace customers. We work on customer applications in the field of mission planning, terrain visualisation and decision support systems and use a variety of technologies in 3D Geospatial, Image Processing, Extended Reality and various MIL standards to deliver cutting edge solutions to our customers.

Every single mission from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota, India's Missile Test Range, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur and the Flight Test Centre (FTC) in India uses software developed by Engineers at LaunchTrax for better mission readiness.

JobResponsibilities:

DesignandDevelopment:Design,develop,andtestelectronicsystemsandcomponentsforUAVs/AUVs,

includingcontrolsystems,navigationsystems,communicationsystems,andpayloadintegration.

SystemIntegration:Integrateelectronicsystemswithmechanicalandsoftwarecomponents toensureseamlessoperationandcompatibilitywiththeoverallautonomoussystemdesign.

TroubleshootingandDebugging:Identifyandresolveelectronicsystemissuesthroughtroubleshooting,debugging androotcauseanalysis.

PerformanceOptimization:Optimizeelectronicsystemsforperformance,reliability,weight,andpower

consumptiontomeetoperationalrequirementsandconstraints.

ComplianceandStandards:Ensurecompliancewithrelevantindustrystandards,regulations,andcertificationrequirementsforUAVsaccordingDGCAstandards.

Collaboration:Collaboratewithmultidisciplinaryteams,includingmechanicalengineers,softwareengineers,and

aerospaceengineers,toachieveprojectgoalsandobjectives.

Documentation:Preparetechnicaldocumentation,includingdesignspecifications,testplans,andreports,to

documentelectronicsystemdesigns,analyses,andtestresults.

QualificationsandSkills:

Education:Bachelor'sdegreeorhigherinElectricalEngineering,ElectronicsEngineering,AerospaceEngineering,

orarelatedfield.Advanceddegreesorcertificationspreferred.

Experience:

4- 5 years of experience in electronic system design, development and testing. Preferably in the Unmanned AerialVehicle/AutonomousUnderwaterVehicleindustry.

FamiliaritywithAUV/UAVplatformsandapplicationsisadvantageous.

TechnicalSkills:Proficiencyinelectroniccircuitdesign,PCBlayout,microcontrollerprogramming,digitalsignal

processing,RFcommunication,andembeddedsystemsdevelopment.

AnalyticalSkills:Stronganalyticalandproblem - solving skills to analyze complex electronic systems, identifyissues,andproposeeffectivesolutions.

Communication:Excellentcommunicationskills,bothverbalandwritten,tocollaborateeffectivelywithteam

members,presenttechnicalinformation,anddocumentdesigndecisionsandoutcomes.
