Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Design engineer for a leading design consultancy firm in Mumbai.

1. Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.

2. Minimum 10+ years of similar experience (preferably in Consultancy field).

3. Knowledge of local codes (NBC, IS CODE, CPCB, NEC ETC.)

4. knowledge of Electrical design systems with all relevant calculation & system selection

like Electrical load, SLD, Short Circuit calculation, LPS, earthing, voltage drop, APFC, ELV,

Solar PV, meter and panel room sizing, UPS, Preparing BOQ and knowledge of AutoCAD.

5. Candidate should have experience of handling a team of Engineers and designers with

technical support. Should be good in client coordination, preferably be from Consultancy

background.

6. Co-ordinate Electrical layout with another services layout.

Job responsibilities of the role:

1. Monitor planning, designing and developing Electrical engineering services system

design.

2. Manage Design Questionnaire, Space planning, Design basis/ concept report in

consultation with Mechanical counterpart through the design team.

3. Develop & review Electrical calculations, and Preparation of MOEF, support documents

like calculation as per the Authority drawing & Cost comparison.

4. Review of Electrical & ELV design drawings at all stages and developing Specifications

and BOQ of the same.

5. Prepare presentations in power point for Client meetings.

6. Should be able to communicate effectively at all levels to support collaborative work

practices.

7. Maintain Customer focus and adhere to the Quality & Time.

8. Apply technical knowledge to resolve the problems and willing to learn new skills.

This position is responsible for leading Electrical Design Engineers and Designers on various

projects in development of design concepts, calculations, schemes and authority required

documentations.
