Role Summary
nWe are looking for a full-time document controller to work within the Information Management discipline of our Noida Office supporting our UK team. The role entails the storage and management of documentation in line with company procedures. Furthermore, ensuring that project documentation and client deliverables are transmitted and received in accordance with project procedures using varied EDMS programs. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently and be highly motivated whilst having a good appreciation of a deadline driven environment. They should be detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy as they come in contact with complex and sensitive documents.
nResponsibilities:
nSuccessful candidate will be required to:
n- Record issued documents in accordance with Project Life Cycle procedure.
n- Receive and/or download drawings and documents from the EDMS and file in the appropriate directory.
n- Provide the project manager with a schedule of documents received and transmitted including revisions.
n- Filing electronic incoming documentation.
n- Preparation of Master Document Register and maintaining the same through out the project.
n- Circulate received/downloaded documents to project team in client's EDMS and WSP CDE.
n- Keep a log of in-coming and out-going information.
n- Upload drawings and documents onto EDMS in accordance with a schedule provided by the Project Manager (PM)
n- Responsibility for high level review of project life cycle-controlled documents.
n- Setting up and maintaining document issue sheets throughout entire project.
n- Checking standard details on outgoing documents and drawings, for inconsistencies, revision changes and format.
nQualifications and Experience:
n- Ideally 8-10 years experience of Document and Data management in a multi discipline detail design engineering environment.
n- Experience of uploading/downloading from online collaborative websites is essential.
n- The successful candidate needs to be conscientious, and methodical with excellent organisational skills.
n- Excellent time management skills and capable of managing their own time/workload across multiple projects.
n- Excellent communication skills required as all the projects will be UK based and daily coordiantion with the project team in UK is required.
n- Experience in EDMS's like Aconex, SharePoint, ASite, Procore would be an advantage.
