This transformative project aims to modernize and revolutionize healthcare by leveraging cloud technology, AI/ML capabilities, and a strong focus on delivering a visual experience that empowers healthcare professionals and their customers.Position Overview: As a Senior Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading the modernization of our Oracle Health clinical applications and driving the transformation of healthcare through AI and cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with our existing Clinical Digital Assistant team to lead development of next generation AI capabilities that will be delivered through CDA, our evolving EHR and the entire clinical stack. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a visionary team that is poised to make a significant impact on the healthcare industry.Key Responsibilities:
AI/ML Feature Development: Leverage your expertise in AI/ML to advance the capabilities of the Clinical Digital Assistant and our clinical application stack, enabling it to provide valuable insights and support to healthcare professionals.Foundational Innovations: Drive new horizontal AI capabilities that will surface throughout our healthcare products, and develop higher accuracy, faster approaches to integrating knowledge, data and LLMs.Healthcare Transformation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions that transform the healthcare landscape.Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing engineering team dedicated to applying AI to healthcare, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for AI-first clinical applications, aligning it with the company's objectives and healthcare industry trends.

As a Senior Director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to current and future design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision improvements to the architecture.
Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering leadership roles, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
- Deep technical expertise in AI/ML and cloud technologies.
- Track record of innovation and leadership in productizing AI research
- Previous experience in healthcare technology or related fields is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate technical vision into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
