The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and optimize Sourcing Analytics processes and methods that enable Businesses and Category Management teams to efficiently focus on business growth. This role will lead the efforts of building advanced analytical capabilities and providing the analysis of spend, savings, cash, and delivery as per the Business requirements. Essential Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement analytics automation strategies and plan
Partner with Digital team to develop and enhance the GE Vernova Data platform to assure the availability, completeness, standardization, and accuracy of the data from multiple ERPs and various systems and tools
Lead the efforts of developing GE Vernova Sourcing Taxonomy structure and a sustainable Commodity Classification process to assure 95% of spend are classified as per Taxonomy structure
Lead the process to design, develop and automate the standard dashboards across GEV and lead Bowler process to support BU to achieve the target around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Cash
Leverage Advanced Analytics (DS, ML) to develop and improve the analytical models, dashboards and reports to drive the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash (SQDCC) performances;
Provide actionable data for Sustainability, Risk Management, Compliance and Supplier Diversity;
Support Commodity Leaders on market price analysis, should-cost analysis, supplier and commodity synergy analysis and supplier performance measurement;
Drive and improve the Master Data Management solutions to assure the consistency and accuracy of foundational data;
Partner with DT and BU to execute Sourcing 360 implementation plan to meet the business needs;
Apply and implement LEAN principles to foster user/requestor engagement and adoption.
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Analytics, Sourcing, Commodity Managemnt, Supply Chain, IT;
Strong knowledge and hands-on experiences on Advanced Analytics (SQL, Python, Data science, Machine Learning, Tableau development..etc);
Demonstrated ability in leading large scale organizational, process, and culture change;
For roles not in USA, this role requires significant experience comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience);
For roles in USA, this role requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in job family group/function).
Desired Characteristics
M BA or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, IT;
Strong collaborative mindset in working across functional areas;
Strong and Hands-on experiences in Sourcing and Procurement processes and system integration projects and ERPs;
Strong Project Management skills;
Strong analytical/problem solving skills;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
Strong track record for implementing change and delivering results;
Comfortable with a broad range of research tools and technologies;
Lean knowledge and experiences will be a valuable asset.
