Our client is now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer.

Available locations: This role is open for candidates in Brazil and India (Bengaluru, Chennai & Pune).

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build self-service tools to enable software development teams to push code to production quickly.
  • Develop CI/CD pipeline templates for data engineering, software engineering, and data science to support one-click build and deployment across environments.
  • Manage the setup, configuration, and audit of user accounts and security policies to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate design approaches, prototype new technologies, and evaluate technical feasibility.
  • Lead projects from design through execution and collaborate with teams on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Analyze and improve the availability, efficiency, scalability, security, and performance of services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production systems as part of the on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in DevOps.
  • Proficient with distributed version control systems (e.g., GitLab, GitHub).
  • Experience managing complex build systems within a CI setup using tools like GitLab.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS compute services (EC2, EKS, Lambda), networking (VPC, NAT, Transit GW), storage (S3, RDS, DocumentDB), IAM, API GW, EMR, and Athena.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (minimum requirement).
  • Expertise in Kubernetes cluster management and configuration.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform.
  • Experience with big data streaming technologies (e.g., Kinesis, MSK, Kafka).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and Node.js.
  • Familiar with Jira/Confluence administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Passionate about creating new solutions, driving change, and challenging the status quo.
