Boutiqaat, one of the largest e-commerce companies in the GCC area, is currently expanding its development center in Cairo. Since our inception in 2015, We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of experience in AWS Cloud services, and extensive hands-on knowledge in a range of development and operations technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage AWS Cloud environments, ensuring efficient performance and scalability.
- Maintain and administer virtual environments using VM/Esxi Host.
- Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for streamlined deployments and updates.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes, ensuring system resilience and optimal resource utilization.
- Administer databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, and MongoDB, ensuring data consistency and security.
- Operate in mixed OS environments (Linux and Windows), handling system operations with expertise in both.
- Monitor system performance using tools like Prometheus or Grafana, and optimize as needed to meet business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in DevOps or system administration roles with a strong focus on AWS Cloud environments.
- Preferably experience in virtual environment management using VM/Esxi Host.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitLab, MySQL/MSSQL/MongoDB, and monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
- Proficient with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Strong understanding of network architectures, database management, and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve issues.
