Senior Designer
Seeking an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented, self-starter to be a key contributor in building an iconic Digital Brand Services Agency. The incumbent will be a skilled full stack designer fluent in designing high impact and effective design assets.

- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive communication design
- Be in sync with current design trends around the globe. Should have the ability to translate ideas into tangible design concepts.
- Meeting clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of each design job
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
- Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers
- Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print, social media and websites
- Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists to ensure the design vision is brought to life accurately.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
- Ability to envision & design aesthetically pleasing web pages in line with UI/UX principles when needed
- Keep abreast of latest developments in design principles as well as technology and educate peers through informal and formal discussions.
- Make recommendations for improvements in workflows, reporting and pitches of all design projects.
- Creative Direction: Lead and inspire the design team, providing clear creative direction and conceptualizing innovative design solutions for diverse digital projects, including branding, website design, social media campaigns, email marketing, and more.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of designers, ensuring efficient workflow, fostering a positive work environment, and developing their skills to achieve outstanding design output.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients and account managers to understand project requirements, goals, and brand visions, and effectively translate them into visually engaging and impactful designs.
- Brand Identity: Maintain consistency and integrity of brand identities across all digital channels, ensuring designs align with clients brand guidelines and agency's creative standards.
- Design Review: Conduct regular design reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions to enhance the quality of the team's work.
- Project Planning: Oversee project timelines and resource allocation, ensuring that design projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet clients expectations.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest design trends, digital innovations, and emerging technologies, infusing fresh ideas into the team's work and the agency's offerings.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as Content Marketing, Digital Strategy, and Development, to ensure seamless integration of design elements into cohesive digital campaigns.
Who You Are
Competency
- The candidate should be expertly proficient with the complete Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop, AI, CorelDraw and InDesign.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and UI/UX preferred
- Prior experience in an Advertising agency is required
- Masters Degree in Fine Arts, Applied Arts or Communication Design mandatory
- Familiar with and passionate about brand and design principles to collaborate with specialists in the development of all assets.
- Design Expertise: Proven experience in graphic design, web design, and other digital design disciplines, with an outstanding portfolio showcasing diverse projects and successful design solutions.
- Leadership Experience: Prior experience in leading and managing a team of designers in a fast-paced digital agency or similar environment.
- Creative Vision: A strong creative vision with the ability to conceptualize and execute unique and impactful design concepts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD) and familiarity with design tools for web and interactive media.
- Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Degree: A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
