Position Description
Sr. Functional Payment Expert:-
Looking for a talented, versatile and hands-on Functional Payments Expert to develop and deliver innovative payments solutions. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of the payments industry trends, bank processing, payment security and transaction models. It is important that the candidate has strong business acumen, positive work ethics and a collaborative mindset. The role involves working as a Functional Analyst to play a vital role in the CGI All Payments solution. The candidate will manage various day-to-day client functional change requests, user story grooming, SIS updates, generate test scenarios, conduct test reviews and overall functional management of the CGI solution.
Mandatory:-
- Requirement Gathering and documenting in SOW and getting a Sign-Off.
- Create/Update SIS/DIS/DFS as per requirement.
- Grooming of User Story for Acceptance and System Testing.
- Come-up with Test Scenarios, Test Execution review.
- Functional Analysis and resolving service requests regarding its functionality with respect to resolving production/UAT issues.
- Promptly and professionally participate in Triage call with client and / or gather appropriate information to timely resolve the service request.
- Accurately document the situation, and if applicable, initiate and follow the appropriate workflow when the issue needs additional assistance to reach resolution
- Work with client and client assigned personnel in the resolution of functional request while providing the resolution according to agreed upon timeline.
- Stay informed of application status and all dependencies that may affect applications user.
- Keep and maintain accurate documentation of all functional requests to make sure all service levels are supported and justified with metrics

- The person should have very good experience with regards to reviewing and responding to client requests while working closely with internal teams to address these requests
- Work may require flexible work periods to address application and client needs
- Good communication skills to directly and independently interact with clients for gathering requirement.
Optional:-
Usage of Tools like JIRA, X-Ray, EA.
Testing background with experience in writing system test cases specification, test execution.
- The individual should have 7+ years of relevant work experience (requirement gathering, SIS/DFS/DIS Update, functional analysis, triage, coming-up with test scenarios, test execution review).
- The individual should also be familiar with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project) with regards to documenting maintenance plans, reports, and / or procedures.
- The person should have relevant background and experience in Payment Processing for High Volume System. Exposure to Clearing System in NZ/AU will be advantage.
- The person should be a team player, be able to work independently, be highly motivated and possess good communications skills with regards to interacting with various cross-functional team members and in writing test cases.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personality types and understand functional and technical issues.

Functional Expertise on following areas - SWIFT , MT / MX , ISO Messages, Regulatory Requirements, Working Knowledge on any of the international Payments Clearing System
Desired Skills: Usage of Tools like JIRA, X-Ray, EA.
Background with experience in writing system test cases specification, test execution.
