We are committed to excellence in design and are looking for a Senior Designer (Architect) to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on both commercial and residential projects, requiring expertise in layout planning, structural design, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design, and elevation design.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Lead the design process for commercial and residential projects from concept through completion, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions.
- Layout Planning: Develop efficient and functional layouts that meet client requirements while adhering to zoning regulations and design standards.
- Structural Design: Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure the structural integrity and feasibility of architectural designs.
- MEP Design: Integrate MEP systems into architectural designs, ensuring coordination and compliance with building codes and client specifications.
- Elevation Design: Create aesthetically pleasing and contextually appropriate elevation designs that enhance the visual appeal of the project.
- Project Management: Manage design projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback into the design process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other architects, designers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- 5-8 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of commercial and residential projects.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of layout planning, structural design, MEP integration, and elevation design.
- Excellent understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction processes.
- Strong design and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sustainable design practices and LEED certification.
- Familiarity with 3D rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray, etc.).
- Experience in client-facing roles with strong negotiation skills.
