Senior Database Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performing database solutions using Oracle.

Write complex SQL queries and optimize them for maximum efficiency and scalability.

Perform database tuning, monitoring, and optimization to ensure high levels of performance,

availability, and security.

Design and develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and

procedures.

Analyze existing systems and propose improvements and new solutions.

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide database solutions.

Provide support for database issues that may arise and ensure rapid resolution.

Focus and commitment to solving complex software development items that meet customer

expectations.

Be involved with SDLC from requirements to test but own executing development of features & bug fixes that is clean, reusable, maintainable code

Build quality into all tasks, ensure adequate unit testing and support quality assurance engineers in testing completed items

Lead code reviews and architecture discussions

Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in database management
