As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for helping design, build, test, deploy and operate highly scalable solutions. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment. You should be a full stack developer, who can dive deep into any part of the stack and design broad distributed system interactions. You should also be able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, be results-driven, and thrive even when faced with ambiguity. Most meaningfully, you should be a team player, someone who is eager to learn, and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team success.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of expertise in developing components using different Oracle database technologies (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL).
- Hands-on experience in database design - Transactional and Dimensional.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, Exadata, Autonomous Database etc.
- A skilled professional in understanding and resolving complex entity relationships and data models.
- Strong understanding and experience with oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages, parallel processing, bulk processing, scheduling, jobs etc.
- Excellent performance tuning experience in Oracle/ PLSQL.
- Solid experience in interpretation and analysis of AWR reports, Query plans, Trace logs etc.
- Experience in Python is an add-on.
- Working experience in Cloud, GIT, DevOps practices, including CI / CD and test automation
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix fundamentals
- Excellent solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Preferred to have good understanding of FSDF, FCCM data model and data flow and knowledge of OFSAA FCCM Applications.
