Title: Database Administrator
Skills: Postgre Database administration, MSSQL, clustering, backup and recovery.

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 would be preferred
- The PostgreSQL DBA will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless migration from MSSQL Servers, database operations and optimal performance.
- Proven experience with integration from MSSQL Server to postgres.
- Responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our PostgreSQL databases.
- Develop simple and complex stored procedures, functions and views to meet database administration and enhancement requirements.
- Provide best practice guidance to the development team with regard to database design and usage.
- Develop automation technologies to expedite the process of data migration and database administration.
- Develop appropriate corrective actions to resolve production data issues.
- Optimize database performance.
- This role involves both strategic and operational responsibilities, including planning, development, and troubleshooting.
- You will be expected to design and implement database systems, monitor and optimize performance, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and solving complex databases schemas.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in database development, administration and management.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for backup and recovery processes, as well as disaster recovery planning.
- Deep understanding of database architecture, experience with database tuning and optimization, and a strong background in SQL.
- Should also be familiar with various database tools and technologies, and have experience in automating database tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for this role.
