Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analyses on complex, ambiguous business problems, providing actionable insights and recommendations to guide decision-making.
- Take ownership of a wide range of data and metrics, from core logging to the presentation of data visualizations.
- Lead code reviews and provide expertise in SQL and Python, ensuring the creation and maintenance of well-structured ETL jobs.
- Uphold a high standard of statistical rigor, ensuring that experimentation and causal analyses are conducted to build stakeholder confidence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD in a quantitative field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading impactful data science projects that address ambiguous problems.
- Ability to influence stakeholders by translating data insights into compelling narratives.
- Practical expertise in applying complex modeling frameworks to solve business problems.
- Proficient in SQL and Python.
- Experience working with digital products in iterative development cycles.
