We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist with expertise in Revenue Growth Management (RGM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics and data-driven insights to optimize revenue streams and drive business growth. As a Data Scientist specializing in RGM, you will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and implementing solutions to maximize revenue across various channels.
Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis and Modeling:
Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets related to sales, pricing, promotions, and consumer behavior.
Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast demand, optimize pricing strategies, and identify revenue opportunities.
2. Revenue Optimization:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for revenue growth and develop data-driven strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
Conduct pricing elasticity analysis and recommend pricing adjustments to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
3. Promotional Effectiveness:
Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities and campaigns through rigorous analysis of historical data and marketing performance metrics.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize promotional spend and improve ROI.
4. Market and Competitive Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and consumer preferences to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats to revenue growth.
Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform pricing and promotional strategies.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other stakeholders to align revenue growth initiatives with overall business objectives.
Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. PhD is a plus.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a focus on Revenue Growth Management or Pricing Analytics.
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and data manipulation/querying languages (e.g., SQL).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
Experience with machine learning techniques (e.g., regression analysis, decision trees, clustering) and predictive modeling.
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for communicating insights effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong business acumen and understanding of revenue management principles and practices.
Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or similar industries is preferred.
