We are seeking a skilled and experienced data scientist with a strong background in computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning. As a data scientist in our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions for complex data analysis problems. You will work closely with our team of engineers and data scientists to develop and deploy scalable, production-ready models to drive business insights and improve the user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement computer vision and NLP models using machine learning techniques such as deep learning, convolutional neural networks, recurrent neural networks, and transformers.
- Build data pipelines and develop data cleaning, feature engineering, and data pre-processing algorithms.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and statistical modelling to identify patterns, trends, and insights in large datasets.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design experiments, analyse data, and develop actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate models into products and services, and evaluate their performance in production.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in computer vision, NLP, and machine learning, and identify opportunities to apply them in our products and services.
Requirements:
- 4 + years of experience in data science and machine learning, with a focus on computer vision and NLP.
- Strong programming skills in Python, and experience with relevant libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, NLTK, Spacy, and OpenCV.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply statistical methods and machine-learning techniques to complex data analysis problems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data analysis results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a computerrelated field (Master's degree preferred)
