Job Description : Sr. Data Scientist

We are looking for a candidate with 6+ years of experience in Data Science to join our team as a Senior Data Scientist, with education (Masters degree or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. They should also have the following abilities:

Required

1. Education (Masters degree or higher) in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

2. 6+ years of professional experience in predictive modelling and analysis, preferably customer journey and targeting to drive business outcomes

3. Proficiency in Python and SQL especially for data wrangling, analysis, and modelling

4. Expertise in experiment design and methods, from A/B tests to quasi-experiments

5. Excellent problem solving, analytic skills, and written and oral English communication skills, stakeholder/expectation management skills

6. Familiar with most of the standard methods: linear regression, logistic regression, regularized regressions, nearest neighbours, k-means, DBSCAN, collaborative filtering, decision trees, random forests, extreme gradient boosting, support vector machines and deep neural networks for very large datasets

7. Experience with Tensorflow, Pyspark (Dataframe, SQL & MLLib) and sklearn

Preferred

1. Should have deployed models in production or know how it is done.

2. Familiarity with HDFS and Hive is a plus

3. Experience with Kubeflow or other docker/container based solutions.

4. Experience with Pytorch, torch-serve, MLFlow, TFX, Tensorflow-Serving is a plus
