Job Title : Senior Data Scientist, Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- The end-to-end ownership and delivery of actionable model outputs, data products and data driven insights and recommendations across Aptean's business. This will involve the extraction, cleaning and pre-processing of data to provide accurate, enhanced and novel data sets for use in the development of your machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis and other data products.
- The automation of your data products and model outputs to help Aptean consistently drive measurable results and effective insight from data at scale.
- Partnering closely with a range of stakeholders to share your outputs and support the design and delivery of new business processes to leverage your models and data products
- Connect the current infrastructure with a services architecture type that is always on
- Implement analytics for automatically extracting insight from data feeds
- Collaborate closely with a cross functional team to align technology development with the comprehensive needs of AI
- Implementing a process to build-measure-learn rapidly
- Develop data visualisations and analytics
- Experiment with statistical/ML approaches
Ideal Requirements
- Strong Python experience
- Strong SQL experience
- Experience with Python and its relevant libraries for data manipulation, analysis and model development
- Experience in leveraging Python to acquire data from external sources using APIs and/or web-scraping
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
- Demonstrable ability to summarise data clearly and concisely into consumable content for a wide audience including senior leadership
- A strong working knowledge of data science techniques and tools
- Experience working with Marketing, CRM, Contact and procured data
- 2+ years of experience in a data science or data analytics position
- Strong academic background in maths, statistics, physics, computer science or similar subjects
