As a Data Migration Consultant you will get the chance to be involved in the process of delivering Document Migration dvelopment nd implmntation of projects, dat governnc and data qulity solutions to ensure customer success. The role will require you to work closely with our clients and the fme delivery team on data-related projects, to ensure we achieve the required internal and external outcomes.

We are currently seeking a Data Migration Consultant, to join our team at fme, who will be directly responsible to:
- Oversee the delivery of Data/Content Migration development and implementation projects, data governance, and data quality solutions for fme's clients;
- Work closely with our clients and the fme delivery team on data-related projects to ensure we achieve the required internal and external outcomes;
- Review existing migration tools and provide recommendations for improving the performance of the migration process;
- Develop and execute action plans to deliver timely technical solutions to critical customer situations;
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies;
- Service as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the migration of Content Management solutions; supporting multiple projects simultaneously;
- Lead migration projects and escalate migration project risks/issues promptly, as necessary to management.
Requirements
- Database skills, including knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL Database;
- Experience in document/data migration experience with Enterprise Content Management Systems (SharePoint, Documentum, OpenText, Box);
- Experience in working with data migration tools (ETL);
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills, technical hands-on;
- Experience with validated systems with the ability to produce quality documentation deliverables and execute installation procedures and test cases;
- Experience or desire to work with customers and organizations across different geographical locations;
- The candidate must be self-driven but must also work well in a team, taking on different roles as needed (dependent on the project situation);
- Flexibility, ability to work within an ambiguous, fast-paced environment while driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities;
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills;
- A bachelor's or above degree in computer science or related fields.
Nice to have:
- Experience migrating from and to Documentum content management systems to Veeva is a plus;
- Networking knowledge. TCP/IP, Internet protocols, network configuration, load balancing;
- Good understanding of Java or similar OOP programming languages;
- Good experience with Application Servers, such as Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss, Tomcat, etc.
- Previous experience in the pharma industry or consulting (R&D and Q&M business processes).
