Project roles and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Selection and Deployment: Choose appropriate technologies for data use cases and deploy and operate data solutions efficiently.
- Data Store Management: Set up and manage data stores for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Data Security: Implement encryption and other security measures to protect data at rest.
- Data Access: Develop tools and solutions to securely access multiple data sources.
- Real-Time Analytics: Implement solutions to enable real-time analytics and data processing.
- Container Technologies: Utilize container technologies to streamline deployment and operations.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Elastic Search, Cassandra, Hadoop, MongoDB.
- Experience with Spark and Presto/Trino.
- Knowledge of microservice-based architectures.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Additional Skills:
- Unix/Linux experience is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
- Cloud knowledge (AWS/GCP) and experience with Kubernetes/Docker are highly desirable.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated respectfulness and willingness to learn.
