Senior Data Engineer

You will be working as a lead data engineer building data pipelines following data lake architecture oriented towards the data mesh framework.

You will guide and work with a team of 3-5 experienced data engineers driving the business objectives.

You will be doing ETL/ELTs primarily with python programming to expose the data which consumer could ingest.

You will use services like PySpark or write independent micro services extensively in python code.

You will need to know one or more reporting tools preferably Tableau, PowerBI or Sisense

You will have opportunities to work with ML use cases to build AI powered solutions.

Skill set:

Sound understanding of data warehousing, data lake, ETL/ELT tools, data modelling and big data technologies.

Object oriented programming knowledge with expertise in python programming.

Expertise in SQL, views, stored procedures

Good understanding of data engineering patterns

Basic knowledge about Machine learning principles

Knowledge in using at least one reporting tool.

Thought leadership and team/customer management skills.
