Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for a talented Senior Data Analyst to join our Data and research team in Thane, Mumbai, India!

The right Senior data analyst is fully focused on developing insights and recommendations that drive business results. The right person is a doer who wants to roll up their sleeves and grow along the team as it and its impact expands. The ideal candidate will work closely with their team, who owns all end-to-end data processes, tools, governance and security for Minna products and systems, including data obtained by third-party products needed for integration. The team will also be responsible for merging, exploration and intelligence of combined data sets from Minna's ecosystem partners and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead product/data projects that utilize statistical, data and ML tools to support business growth
• Strong business-oriented mindset with strong Python / SQL coding abilities who can develop actionable insights with substantial strategic P&L impact
• Enhance and test data specifications.
• Proven experience in handling large data sets, developing complex data analysis, methodologies, and predictive data models
• Work to identify quick wins for key business stakeholders in Finance, Product and Sales/Customer Success.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
• Retrieving granular data from internal partners, the data warehouse and/or other external sources.
• Contribute to simple and innovative ways to ingest, transform, store and to analyze various data sources.

Requirements

• You are an experienced user of SQL and Python. Further experience with JVM based languages such as Java and Scala, and knowledge of both Google Cloud Platform and MongoDB is appreciated.
• Dashboarding/Reporting experience with Looker or similar platforms for Stakeholders
• You bring strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to articulate complex data analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You have a STEM degree discipline from a Tier1/2 University.
• You have experience working with multiple and large unstructured datasets.
• You are comfortable working within an organization in the scale-up phase, where we are growing quickly and often working on multiple projects with tight timelines, simultaneously.
• Experience with financial services based, data analytics experience is a plus.
• Have a product oriented mindset to develop solutions that can be useful for customers
• Preferably 4-5 years of overall experience with at least one year of project/product experience
