Torus is looking for a talented and committed professional, to handle a leadership position.
As a Creative Director, you will be expected to
- Supervise the entire creative process
Guide a team of graphic designers, content writers, illustrators, social media managers and so on and coordinate with them to craft impactful campaigns for our clients and for in-house projects.- Be the point of contact for clients to understand their objectives clearly and translate it into step-by-step tasks for the creative team.
Establish action plans and timelines for projects and identify the ideal allocation of resources for each project.
- Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output across team members who work under them.
Have strong supervisory, people management, and leadership skills in order to lead and inspire, hire, develop, and oversee their creative team.
Requirements:
- Five or more years of creative direction experience.
A solid grasp of art history, design history, photography and the visual arts, pop culture, and counterculture; fluency in current technology, politics, a deep understanding of the zeitgeist of social tastes and current affairs.
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and determine a creative vision that matches client briefs.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.- Extensive supervisory experience (including leadership, team-building, and delegation) leading and managing a creative team.
Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
- Enthusiastic about building a culture rooted in humility, discipline, gratitude, collaboration and respect.
Since we are an up and coming team, we would also encourage working with professionals already serving in leadership positions in other creative agencies and looking for an opportunity to nurture and grow a team of their own while working remotely in a flexible schedule.
