Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Copywriter to join our dynamic advertising agency. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, a strong creative vision, and the ability to produce compelling and effective copy across various platforms. As a Senior Copywriter, you will work closely with the creative team to develop innovative concepts and bring them to life through impactful storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Concept Development:
- Collaborate with art directors, designers, and other team members to develop innovative and engaging advertising concepts.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas for campaigns across different media channels.
Copywriting:
- Write clear, persuasive, and original copy for a variety of advertising materials, including print ads, digital campaigns, social media, video scripts, websites, and more.
- Ensure all copy aligns with brand guidelines and the overall tone and voice of the client.
Editing and Proofreading:
- Review and edit copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client specifications.
- Proofread materials for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors before final production.
Client Collaboration:
- Work closely with account managers and clients to understand their goals, target audience, and messaging requirements.
- Present and articulate creative ideas and copy to clients, incorporating feedback to refine and improve the work.
Market Research and Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated with industry trends, market research, and competitive analysis to inform creative strategies.
- Utilize insights to create relevant and impactful copy that resonates with the target audience.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and work is delivered to the highest standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a copywriter in an advertising agency or similar environment.
- Proven track record of creating successful advertising campaigns across various media channels.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a keen understanding of branding and marketing principles.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Proficient in using content management systems and copywriting tools.
